Help Picking Power Supply

Haven't lurked on here for some time, but the need to start my DIY CNC is here.

I will be mainly using it for fabing acrylic parts and was wondering if this 36v PS 2A on PMinMO site will be enough or will I need the 13.5A version? Or go with the DCS1 again on PMinMO's site

I was thinking of using Keling Technology, Inc stepper motors but if there's something better pls let me know. Maybe something in the 400 - 600 oz in range.

http://www.kelinginc.net/KL23H2100-30-4BM.pdfNEMA 23 BIPOLAR STEPPER MOTOR 495 oz-in, 1/4” Diameter shaft

Is there any advantage with the 1/4" shaft over the 1/2" shaft?

I will be starting Joe's 2006 DIY soon, buying parts now.

TIA

Check out the third option here (G540 3 axis package): http://www.kelinginc.net/CNCNEMA23G540Package.html

It's been recommended in several threads for machines that size.
