Went to a local Radio Shack yesterday, looking for connectors for my stepper motors. Didn't find any suitable (read affordable) connectors, but I found... The Parallax RFID reader with 2 tags on clearance! $9.97 ! This was originally priced at just under 50 bucks! What a deal! I bought two. This is one of those neat little gadgets that you buy, just to see it work. Then you have to justify buying it by thinking of all the things it can do. My first project will be an RFID "on switch" for my CNC router power supply. Need the proper tag to turn the router on. That should keep the riffraff from messin' with it
