Have two AC to DC converters/battery chargers and one has output of 19.5V 3.34A and other has output of 19.5V 4.62A. What is the difference between them regarding the amp portion of output if the output volts are the same? Would one just charge the battery faster? Thanks |

| If the current capability is higher, yes it is capable of charging faster, many battery chargers now are a bit more than the simple transformer & rectifier of years ago, most have some kind of voltage sensing of the battery being charged. If there is no regulation, as the battery charges it opposes the battery charger output and the current falls accordingly. Some are designed with the higher voltage output in order to maintain a constant high charge current in order to effect a rapid charge. Al.
