I recently purchased a kit from Keling including a C10 breakout board and am buildng a 3 axis machine. I want to put limit switches at both +/- end of each axis and also have a home switch for each of the 3 axes. The C10 ony has 5 inputs - pins 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15. Pin 10 is already used for the e-stop so that only leaves 4. Can I wire one of each of the X, Y, Z limits in series and connect that to say pin 10 then make pins 12, 13, and 15 be individual inputs for the opposite end limit switch and home switch? I studied the video on Mach3 and it says these pins can be used for both a limit and home switch so from a software perspective it sounds like it should work. Has anyone tried this wiring configuration? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Brian |
