i recently aquired a new eni rf generator eni model 25 2500 watts @ 13.56 KHz what r these things used for and what can i do with it the only thing i can find is plasma sputtering what ever that is thanks in advance for your help and advice |

| Its too bad that is around 2mhz otherwise you could build yourself a nice HF heating system, at 2500watts. I believe it is used to produce hard carbon as is used in high tensile machine tool bits etc. Al.

| thanks Al... 13.56 KHz is not quite around 2 MHz . the darn thing is watter cooled ( 2 gal per minuit) i guess i'll fire it up ( from a distance ) and wait for the FCC to show up, they'll tell me what it's doing ( lol.. it won't be the first time ) or i'll start pushing inexpensive hardened tool bits and teeth fillings.. |

| Sorry, I missed that on your 1st post, 13khz would be OK for HF heating of small parts, you would have to build a water cooled HF work coil. Depends what kind of load impedance it works into right now. It might be worth experimenting with unless you can find the right buyer, as it is probabally not a cheap item. Al.
