| Im currently gathering bits and pieces for a very basic 4 axis mill. This is just a low cost trial before I build the more expensive real one. For a spindle motor im just going to use an old radio control car motor or something simmilar. I was just wondering if there is anything out there to control the rpm of the motor and how to go about getting Mach2 to run it? |

| I don't know about Mach2, but TurboCNC can interface to Digispeed or anything that can use dir/step/enable signals. I did the same think you did. I'm building a basic "proof of consept" machine now and it has On-Off control for the spindle with a relay. I have a schematic for a 3phase inverter I hope to build sometime. It will change it a bit to be able to use dir/step/enable signals . |

| Mach2 works with the digispeed as well.
