anyone connect a gecko 540 with colombo spindle?

I think I want to buy a Colombo spindle. Has anyone wired this up to a
Gecko 540?

I looked through the manuals and I'm not clear how to connect the two units.

The Gecko has three terminals for the VFD.
Pin 7 is the VFD ground
Pin 8 is VFD output
Pin 9 is +10V. Is pin 9 (+10V) a input or output?


What pins on the VFD do I connect these to? The VFD has the following terminals:
+10V
AVI
ACI
AUI
ACM
