Hi all, I'm not sure what to call it, but I'm looking for a board that allows me to "intercept" the unused pins of my Sherline CNC controller. I have had it laying around and don't use the sherline anymore because it is just too light weight for my needs, so, I figured i'd use to for another project, but I need to be able to program switches as well. The sherline board is completely hard wired, and I don't want to screw the controller up by having to solder wires to it. I want a board that has an incoming and outgoing parallel port, but which has terminals for each of the 25 pins, which should allow me to run wires from each of the unused pins to a board such as the C10 Bidirectional board from CNC 4 PC. Does anyone know where to get something like this??? Or do I have to make it myself? Wade |

| What you want is a breakout board, usually though these are from, say 25 pin 'D' to terminals, one way, not in and out, you would have to use two to get what you want by the sound of it. I have obtained some that also have solder pads that a cable could be soldered to as well as having the 'D' socket and terminals on. The various makes are Weidmuller, Phoenix-Contact, etc, most of the terminal makers supply them, ebay is a source. Al.

| I understood you to mean a passive type, just break out to terminals. e.g. ebay item 120140712382 This is a 15pin but an example, Entrelec is another make. Al.
