Hi all, I'm nearly done building my second cnc router. I was demonstrating it to my dad at the weekend and like a complete idiot I had the driver electronics rested on my aluminium guide rails. Needless to say the resulting bang, smell of burning, and smoke from the short circuit left me feeling quite stupid. I now have a large hole in my x axis driver chip. I've ordered a new chip but I'm quite useless at soldering (beleive me I've tried) and they have a lot of pins. Are there any companies in the UK that do soldering for the general public? Thanks in advance. Rob. |
