I am in the process of refitting a Dyna 3000 lathe. It came with (2) 24vdc 4.5A power supplies connected in series. Didnt/Wouldnt this supply 48vdc @ 4.5A? If the 2 power supplies were connected in parallel I would receive 24vdc @ 9A correct? I am referring to connecting the output sides not the inputs. |

| I though so and I wanted confirmation. I have a friend who is an electronics repair expert and he wasnt sure whne it came to power supplies and he wouldnt commit. He knew series doubled voltage but he wasnt sure parallel doubled amperage. Thanks |
