Question Rotary Chuck for Pipe Cutting

I'm working on trying to piece together parts to add pipe cutting capabilities to our plasma table. The goal is to be able to cut 8" round standard pipe down to 1 1/4".

I think I've got everything figured out except what I am going to do to rotate the pipe.
My thought was to use a 5:1 planetary gear box.
Maybe this one: link to gear box I'm not sure if I need one with smaller backlash though.

Next is a chuck and chuck mount.
I was thinking of having rollers under where the chuck was so I wouldn't have to worry about supporting the pipe. Still undecided.
I found some head stocks, but they are pretty expensive.
I'm thinking maybe going with plummer blocks and some sort of shaft.

Haven't sourced a chuck yet, but I've seen some nice self centering 4 jaw models.

Precision plasma sells a rotary chuck, but they require you to purchase their gantry setup. I already have a working plasma table already and just want to add the setup. I also noticed their chuck is not self centering.

Any suggestions for gear box, head stock and chuck would be appreciated.
Do you think a timing belt drive would be better than a gear box for this?

    Thank,
    Rich

Call the parts department at Torchmate. They have pretty much exactly what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply, but actually they don't.

    I have a TM3 with a water table.
Their pipe cutter for the TM3 works within the table which would require removing the water table. This is not an option. They will not break out the parts from their kit, so I'd be paying for a lot of parts I don't need.

I could try and make their TM-X pipe cutter kit work, but I would probably have to upgrade all my electronics and motors since my TM3 was made in 2007.

I think I may have a plan using various pats and probably a belt drive.\

    Still looking for suggestions though.

Nowadays, there are already 2D and 3D laser cutting machine. That is an integrated tool of rotary for pipe cutting. If possible, it will be nicer if you'll use it for better work.
