    Running Cnc with laptop

    Hi im looking at a laptop that has a printer port on it and ive been reading about the problems on running a cnc with a laptop.
    can anyone tell me how i can run my cnc with one cause I dont want to carry a desktop computer with me.

    thats a nice but exspensive way to do it.
    Is there any cheaper ways then that?

    Load Dos and run turboCNC.

    It is shareware, so download it and try it.

    It costs nothing unless you voluntarily register it for $60 - which it is worth.

    I have been running it for years of a Pentium 1 laptop.
