    TMC-1000

    Hello All,
I'm a teacher who happened onto a TMC-1000 running off of a Windows 98 PC. Is there any way for me to cut STL files on this machine without alterations? While the machine will engrave using the software which came with it I would like to cut images in plastic for light boxes for my class. Please help!

    Thank You.
    Mike

    Ok,
i'm looking for an "Image Relief" program for the TMC-1000. I used such a program on a Boxford and it allows me to in port STL files that assiged Z axis depth values to tonal values in the image. This allowed you to create images in plastic that were outstanding when you held them up to a light.

Can any of experts help me with this? Is there a program for the TMC-1000 that will do this?

What kind of CAD/CAM software are you running? A lot of times, there are inherent file converters within, that will allow you to import and .stl file and save it as whatever.
