If I understand your question right, you need a NC software that will work with windows XP ? Deskcnc does, that is what I'm using right now.
Hi to all, this is my first message on this forum. Please excuse me if this question was posted before, I don`t have time to search for it right now - if I repeated someone`s question just let me know and I will do that later.
Well - I would like to know may I use Shopmill on Windows XP? I tryed to install them but I couldn`t. I know that it writes that only Windows 95/98/NT are supporting that program but if there is some way to make them work on XP too I would like to know it.
Thanks in advance !

Thanks for advice, I will try Deskcnc too but I would also like to have Shopmill on my XP too.
Go to Siemens Automation website and download Sinutrain Operate TRIAL, it works for 60 days then you have to pay up, not sure of price but not cheap. Does offline programming, DNC, and full ShopMill ShopTurn functionallity.
Programs will only work on real machine if the same version of the cycles are present on the machine as on PC, so don't think Shopmill 7.5 program will work on a machine with Shopmill 6.x but I might be wrong. Make sure you select the correct machine upon startup.
Download the Shopmill PC keymap PDF first though, I found it came in helpful.
Most info to be found on siemens website.
