    axis gain

    Howdy all

    My first post.

I have a supermax with a dynapath 20 control and I'm having axis gain/loss issues. Over 18" in the X axis I loose 0.0107" I have .0006" backlash compensation. From what I understand my axis lags are good. Does any one know how to set the parameters to correct this loss?

    Thanks,
    Micheal

Hi Michael. Welcome to the Zone! You may have to tweak your steps per inch up or down slightly to overcome mechanical errors. Tweak and then measure table movement until it is right.

    CR.
