If this is the wrong forum, slap me down and point me in the right direction.
I want to set up an X2 mill for CNC work. The local HF has an excellent price on the mini mill and I already have a spare PC waiting to be loaded up with EMC2.
I need help in determining what what type controller, steppers, and other hardware to use and source for them. I would like the conversion as easy as possible; I want to use the mill *for* my hobbies, not *as* a hobby, if you know what I mean.

If there's a "sticky" somewhere in the forums, please link me to it. I haven't been able to find one amongst all the info here.
