Exclamation Replacing the FNC-5 control unit

We recently bought a 2nd hand Laser welding machine made by Behrens. Its control unit is a "Control Techniques FNC-5"
We faced some problems with that control unit because the machine was unused about 5 years. We don't know if it works fine.
Where can i get support for thr FNC5 or could we replace it with a PC based CNC system?
We would be thankful if you could give us more information.
