Fanuc Error code

Hello,

We have a Hitachi Seiki CNC lathe with a 10t Fanuc General Numeric with FAPT control here at the College that I teach at. Student Had a collision with the chuck. Boring bar snapped off and student hit the E stop. Does not look like any Damage was done other than the broken Boring Bar. The problem is that I can't seem to clear the Alarm. The machine powers up but we still have the rset and --EMG-- That we can't seem to clear.

See if there is an overtravel release or bypass on the control. If there is hold the button in while using the handle to move the tool off the switches then try reset.
