Text Programs?

Hello,

Could I have your suggestions for an application, preferably free or very cheap, that I can use to create gcode from text.

I need to create some text that is warped, ie. goes round in an arc.


Any suggestions?

what type text ( font) height. also what arc do you need it go around? on top or bottom of arc? I can do it for free. in DWG or DXF or IGES format..

What application are you using to output the text in DXF?

Hmm, Deskengrave is free for normal text straight, arc flat surface , but wraped text need more work..... I recommned WinEngraver sell on Travel.

Hello,

I found Deskengrave and its almost what I need. I can get the text to go around in a clockwise direction, but I also need an anticlockwise also, is there a way of doing that with Deskengrave?

I couldnt find anything about Winengraver, do you have a link to a site?

Hello,

Still on the look out for a simple text engraving program.

Deskengrave would be great if I could figure out how to do text anti-clock.

Winengraver - Can't find it

Millwrite - Doesn't appear to do text in an arc/circle.

Deskengrave with a negative radius prints anti-clock.
