    i have to learn this

I figure you all get asked this alot but I need to learn CNC. It seems all the machinist jobs have or are going to CNC. I downloaded the CNCsimulator software and I have been playing with it for awhile now and I think I have the basics figured out. I need some recommendations on what to buy, dowmload, or otherwise obtain to further understand how to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Community College

Most local community colleges have CNC night classes. Where do you live? You can also download books on the subject or get them from Amazon.com. If you're not real close to a college and have some extra cash, pick-up a used CNC for around 5K and bull through it yourself.

With-out the hands-on in a college or the workplace it will be difficult.
