    Taper correction help

First post so I am not sure I have it in the correct place

Have a Hawk 250 with the Vickers controller and Acramatic 2100E. Problem is I have .001 taper in a 1" travel in the Z axis, how do I correct the machine to have 0 taper in Z travel.

Read the books and still can't seem to find the answer, please resond in slow simple terms as I am new to the CNC scene.

    Thanks
    Thumper

Read thru my conversion of a Grizzly lathe. I had this problem and there was quite an exchange of ways to correct it.
