    Cool Need type3 software information

I have a CNC machine that was made in china built like #$ but manages to run real solid! The software that came with it is called
"TYPE3 Artistic CAD-CAM Software". It works well but it took me forever to figure how to use it because the manual sucks!
It is really powerful and makes it easy to transition to Mach3 but I need help with two things!
    1. Does any one know any thing about this software?
    2. The software requires the use of a 25 pin "DONGLE" I need an adapter that fits my USB - if there is such a thing! This so I can use my newer lap top.

Thanks in advance and thanks for this forum.

If the machine manufacturer can't help you, then you can always get a parallel port pcmcia card for your laptop.
