    Hurco BMC30 spindle problem

    Hi,
Today morning when I switched on my Hurco BMC30 and started spindle it was running very slowely (20to 30 rpm),but my monitor was showing 700rmp.when I checked the rpm on fanuc spindle drive in panel it was showing 30rpm.I thought it will be ok if I run programme but still the screen was showing 1600rpm and spildle drive was showing actual rpm i.e.55. Pl help in solving this problem
    Thanks,
    Javed

Is the programmed S value co-incide with the value on the screen?
If so, that is strange as the screen value is usually taken from the spindle encoder which is generally located on the final spindle shaft (actual sp speed).
I thought at first it might be a wrong gear problem, but the sysmptoms would probabally be opposite.
Is it direct drive or is their gearing?
