Need Collet Help

Hi Everybody,

Found this forum a while back and it has helped us out a lot.

I have a old Miyano BNC-34 lathe with Fanuc OT control. I just changed over from a #22 collet chuck to am S15 chuck. My problem is that I need to get the collet draw bar to move the opposite direction from the way the #22 collet closes i.e. (push to draw collet set-up). I remember there is a way to do this, but my memory is fuzzy.

Simple, Change ID, OD clamp.

Hi KTB100, what do you mind with change ID, OD clamp, i have the same problem, I have a Miyano BNC 34A, with 22c Collet chuck and change it for a Kitagawa Chuck, but when i try to close the chuck it open, my temporary solution i switch the hoses.. But is not the best option.

You are 100% correct to change the hoses if you do not have the key. They should have quick disconnects on the lines. The ID / OD key was an option.
