Help with sinumerik 802s

I am a newbie, and the problem that I have is that I upload a program, the control hangs until I manually press the "stop" soft button, ,and what happens is that the program gets erased. I think that I am missing a certain command, that tells the control that I finished sending the program.
Please somebody help me. It has been a month and I am pulling my hair.
