    control

    Hi, i am trying to find out what is required to controll my machine. i have the software, stepers, three gecko's and a power supply. what else is needed?

    o.k. so i wire it all in? i,m not familier with this stuff, i have no wireing diagrams. spent most of my life maching stuff. i have a computer and can crank it up, i plug the printer cable in, and?

    You'll either need to write g-code by hand, or get a CAD/CAM program to do it.

    You dont NEED a breakout board, but it will make it much easier to hook everything up. Some popular ones can be found at:

    www.campbelldesigns.com
    www.pmdx.com
    www.cnc4pc.com

    All should have wiring diagrams included with them to help get you going.
