Control software

Hi. Not sure where this should go and am just hoping for some guidance.

We have a Kiwa xlcel4 with a 10m controller. Seems that the control software got deleted. Can anyone guide me as to where I can get replacement software?

Control software itself is available from Fanuc, however, if you did indeed loose the software, you most likely lost the ladder as well. Excel/kiwa is gone, so is support for the most part. You will probably need to find an exact machine and try to get the ladder from it.

the tool was overshooting the work by 2" and an employee decided to go into the guys of the thing and evidentially deleted it.

We can get the software for $500 from the manufacturer but that is pretty pricey.

Thats actually quite cheap. Sure he didn't just blow out parameters? Pretty tough to loose software on a 10 control unless you brick a board.

What are the symptoms or alarm message etc? or is it just the program he deleted?
Check the LED digit display on the M. board.
BTW $500 is cheap if it has the word Fanuc on it!
