Looking for simple software for g540

Looking for some CAM software to operate my gecko G540. I am building a machine to profile pipe for very simple pipe saddle joints. We currently use plate and sheet professional, print templates, then cut the pipe by hand with a plasma cutter. This machine I am building i want to do all of this for me. I need to be able to index the pipe in a steady rest sort of setup, and I will have 1 linear axis running the length of the pipe. (manual height control and straight cuts only no bevels) I don't want to be cheap about this but at the same time I don't want to spend extra money on bells and whistles that I don't need. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
