    Newbie Testing/Trial Software Question

    Hey All,

I just finished building my new router. Used the plans from David Steele at http://solsylva.com/cnc/1aplanshome.html. The plans were absolutely wonderful. Extremelly detailed with great pictures. Anyway, I'm going to be using Mach 2 to cut out Christmas Ornaments that I've been cutting our with a scroll saw. A little while ago I payed for the registration but haven't received the number yet. Everything appears to be running correclty with Mach 2, however it is a little difficult to tell being limited to 1000 lines of code. Does anyone have know of a user friendly piece of software that I can download in the mean time to test things out?

    Thanks,
    Scott

How long ago did you pay for registration? Art's usually pretty good, I got my unlock code in about an hour or two. You may want to e-mail him to check it out.
To answer your question however, TurboCNC is a good shareware program, just not as full featured as Mach 2/3. Get it at: http://www.dakeng.com/turbo.html
    hope this helps

Like Mark says, if you paid, email Art. He should have you taken care of in a day or two at most. There must have been a mix-up.
