These are WIN NT based, so basically with the help of the manual, you should be able to get off the ground fairly quickly, there are quit a few features, but straight G code programming should get you started.

I recently purchased a Cinci Arrow 500 with one of these Acramatic 2100 controlers. I'm quite well versed on the Fadal controlers and a few other fanucs, but how difficult are these controlers to learn off. I'm not planning on doing any conversational programming, just from MasterCam V9 so it will be mostly setup tools, Fixture offsets, and minor program modifications. I've never even ran this thing, but did see it in the shop that I purchased it from up and running well. Training around these parts are $125.00/hr, + $75.00 travelling fee + $.40/km milage costs. I'm a new business just starting out and that's a little steep to me, but if all else fails, will have to drop for this training. But I guess $1200.00 a day is better than letting it sit. Any help would be greatly appricated. John![]()

i used the a2100 controllers on cincinnati maxim hmc's up till about a year ago. i found them to be excellent, though a bit idiosyncratic to start with. they have a huge range of features. once you get used to it you will love it.
as the a2100 is windows based, you can get a version that will run on a desktop pc. i purchased a copy of this from siemens for the princely sum of $341. in 2003. i had hours of fun with it.

I have a Cincinnati Arrow 500 with the Acramatic controls. I don't have the user manual for the machine. I am having trouble with loading the tools and setting the tool positions. If anyone has any pointers I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
