Hello to every one. I am working on CNC Vertical machining center having Heidenhain contouring control iTNC 530.Its main computer is MC422B & control unit is CC422. I am facing problems with its HRD hard disk. Is it possible to configure PC with X27/X127 port of main computer to run Drive Diag software to determine its health without HRD hard disk?

Hi!
No, it is not possible to test your HRD throug the RS-port.
To really test your HRD you need to take it out and test somewhere else.
(on TNC 426 there was a test rouitine)
What kind of problems you are having?
