fanuc ot man readables

Is there a paramerter on a fanuc OT-A to turn on the man readables you know the ( ) so you can write things in ?

if you mean to be able to type them on the control yes. But you also have to purchase the keyboard option which has the () keys.

Otherwise, if you program offline, you should be able to put them in the program and download it to the control. The comments should stay in the program and appear on screen.

our ot only showed upper case when we downloaded to the control, lower case came in blank
