    Low cost CNC retrofits

    Has anyone purchased from lowcostCNCretrofits.com?

1.) How satisfied are you with their product?

2.) Was it worth the time/effort/money?

3.) How well has the system performed?

4.) How was it with the installation process?

I am looking very seriously at buying and would like some more info before I do.

    Thanks,

    Dan

10 months later, does anyone have any further info on "lowcostcncretrofits"? As there package seem rather easy to implement & cost effective....that is to say, without wasting vast amounts of time searching for every individual part & matching parts required for a complete electronics/ electric setup to drive a CNC machine less the computer & software.

Has anyone here had any experience with "lowcostcncretrofits" systems?

If you want to just plug and play, without having to go thru all the hoops to source stuff or build it yourself it is good stuff - particularly in Australia where our options are somewhat more limited due to shipping costs.

I have a 4 axis stepper system, I don't know what the drives are, but the motors are from automation direct (275oz-in) and the power supply is a 50V 700W monster.

The jog pendant is simple, no fuss and works well. Steve is pleasant to deal with and gives good service.

I have pics of the machine it will drive at www.gimbal.com.au/content.aspx?name=cnc-mill
