    selca

Selca it' was an italian maker of cnc, the comunication between the cnc and a remote computer has always been and still is a nightmare.Selca cnc are using a program called selcom(ms dos) which is working only on win98 nt 2000..programs where the dos is not emulated like XP.
Selcom has the chance to send and receive programs and starting from selca 1100 cnc also to work on dnc.The cnc you have selca 1000 it's a very old cnc and his memory it's limited to 113 kbts.
This compnay who thought for many years the proprietor electronic was a great weapon to steal money from customers has been closed by heidehnan and i think is good, for one battery they charge me 1200 euros......
Selca 1200 it's a compeltely different story, you can use selcom to send and receive files and use the hard disk of your pc as a remote hard disk and run long programs.

best to you guys and .............mach3 is the future!
