    Help! proto trak AGE dead

Dunno if this is the right place, but here goes:

We had a power cut and my cnc controller won't boot back up. Is there a particular procedure to boot the beast up?

There's power getting to the PC (the Floppy drives light up), there's power getting to the screen (if I unplug the logic cable I get 9 yellow lines), all the fuses are ok.

*scratches head* what am I missing please?

    Fixed it- here's how

Don't worry, I fixed it and it was a flipping annoying probelm you wouldn't have thought of ever.

Here's how, in case anyone else has the same problem:

The (antique) PC has two floppy drives, the bottom one has the system disk in it to boot up. Unfortunately it's covered by the PC door which presses just enough on the eject button to partialy eject the disk. Boot the bugger with the door open (watch out not to get chips in there).

    Job done.
