Hello,
I bought my first CNC router recently, (and my first CNC machine)
I am trying to find software to use the machine. I have done research on the internet, however the softwares are all coming separetly (CAD, CAM ,CNC).
I am an absolute beginner and want to start with simple softwares
I am not aiming to do complicated projects with the machine
Do you know any simple softwars I could use?
Are there softwares which are "all in one"?
Thanks for all your help

Hi
First you should become familar with common G code commands and the format that programs are written in.
Draw simple shapes with dimensions like squares circles straight lines and so on. G0,G1,G2,G3 and so on Gxxx
Learn some of the M-codes , Try and find some ISO standards G code writing material.
Different machine manufactures use different g-code commands for different for different operations.
Have a look at NCplot and download the free version www.ncplot.com , allows you to write g-code in text form and will simulate a 2D/3D drawing of what you are trying to write.
ArtSoft USA - Home of Mach3 and LazyCam, www.machsupport.com has a free trial download which is widely used software and very reasonably priced join their forum lots of useful and friendly people that can assist you.
CNC simulator www.cncsimulator.com is another example of a g-code programming writing software.
http://www.cncezpro.com/gcodes.cfm is another example of a g-code programming writing software. Has some nice examples of raw g code format that you will find interesting.
.
There are many more other software packages out there just have to search the net.
Here is some more reading material

I looked at Nccad7, it looks great,
but I didn't find any links where I could get it from.
It seems that I can only get the software if I buy a machine with it (from dealers).
Thanks for your help
