Morning all. I'm new to this so be gentle! I work for a sub-contract engineers in Rugby, and Im re-commisioning a Carnaghi ATF8 twin pallet vertical borer. Its got Siemens Sinumerik 3T control, and is twin pallet and auto-toolchange, albeit very slowly! We had a slight accident in the process of moving it from its old home in Newcastle to us, in that we didnt realise the main battery compartment wasnt properly connected to the PLC. As a result...we lost the contents of the memory. Our maintanence man has managed to re-enter the basic parameters for the machine, so we're gradually coming back on-line, but the problem is with 2 programs that were stored in the memory, for toolchange cycles and pallet change cycles. Does anyone have experience with this sort of control and/or machine who might be able to help me understand the process of these programs and get them back again? I'd be very appreciative of any help anyone can give, i really am flying blind here!! |
