Hi all. Im new to this site... just started working for a new company that have an scm 100 al. running on xilog 3/xilogplus. the machine has barely been used for 2 years so i am coming up against a lot of problems.... biggest problem is that the tooling management is greyed out so i have no access to changeing what tools are in the carousel. some of the usual m codes arent working for the machine e.g m51 spindle lock/unlock... tool changeing can also be a pain as all the tools they have, have been stored in the carousel. looks like the head isn'tcoming down far enough to collect the tool. Any solutions greatly appreciated thanks john |

| sounds like you're going to have to reinstall/ reconfigure the software. Had a similar problem a while back (hard drive failure; no backup) and had to have a tech come out and install all the missing files and then the heads and fields etc. had to be properly configured. |
