| Hi everyone, my name is Alberto, i`m from mexico. I have problems with a stepper motors controlled with mach3, i`m using this items: Stepper motor IH23007 Controller CW250AC 24 Volts 3 Amps Source Mach3 My problem is with the control of the motor, because when i move the motor with keyboard keys(jog), the motor have a correct function, but if i want to move to zero position in automatic way, the motor begging to move and then begging to vibrate. The speed it´s the same with manual movement and automatic movement, so i`m very confused. I suppose my controller doesn´t support this speed, but why in manual way it support this speed? So please if anybody can help, i wil be very been thankful |

| Hi, You are correct, you're right on the border of what the motor/driver can deliver. IIRC jogging provides a slightly better pulsetrain, jitterwise, than what running G-code does because running G-code taxes the CPU more. Homing the machine is like running G-code. Just back off the velocity and/or acceleration a bit and try again. |
