| Siemens Sinumerik older control questions Hello. I'm new to this website, so please bear with me. I just started a job with a company that only uses very old equipment, and they put me on a Siemens Sinumerik basic 4c 3t 2-axis turning lathe. The manuals for operating and programming are from 1986 or '87, and are very hard to read. Also, it appears the control panel has been upgraded with features that are not mentioned in the manuals, such as "work cycles," "geometry," etc. I've never worked on equipment this old before, so I have several detailed questions about this control. So if anyone knows this particular panel well, can they respond to this posting? Thanks.    |
