| PC Controls vs. Industrial Controls Hello, I was wondering, how does Mach 3 compare to industrial controls on 3-axis VMCs such as the Fanuc 0i-MC? I've used Mach 3 for some basic machining and wood routing, and I also have some experience working with Fanuc 0i and 18i controls. I honestly didn't notice any difference in cutting performance. I don't do any 3D contouring so I can't comment on the block lookahead stuff and whatnot. I did notice some major advantages with Mach software... 256 work offsets, up to 6 axis simultaneous, etc. So what's the scoop? Thanks! |
