Need Help!- SIEMENS 840D

Dear All
I have milling- turning centre
Model: CKX5280
DATE 2005
CPU 840D (Simu Driver 611)
PLC S7300.
Now the machine issues Spindle Stop( 700028) alarm.
Anyone help me to solve this problem ?

You should be able to download manuals for the 840D and 611 Simodrive from Siemens website.Bit difficult to navigate but all there.Look for Siemens Automation and Drives,also Dotcomweb.

Please excuse me - my experience is limited on the 840D. From what I read, that fault is user programmable through the PLC. It would be best to check with the person who wrote the PLC program.

do you have step7 installed on this machine? or a laptop with step7? this is siemens plc ladder logic software.

the alarm says, "faulty NC-MD" for reduced feeds.

are you sure your programmed speeds and feeds are possible and have you used this program before ?

if yes, the maybe your MD's are not correctly set.
