Need Help!- software

Please can anyone help me.
Is there any free or reasonbly priced software out there that can help me to brush up on my cnc programming skills similar to mazacam where i can programme a job then simulate it.

Are you kidding? Mastercam is in the $10k range.

Bobcad is villified but it's cheap. You can get a full version if you bother them for about $300. Call THEM, don't email, and tell them, "I want to buy a full version of BobCAM and I only have $300.

After hem-and-haw they'll get you licensed.

Otherwise there isn't much out there.

dertsap: dolphin level 3 seems to be for milling, I'm a turner.

I'm based in the UK so maybe the other programmes will be hard for me to buy.

could anyone recommend me a good cnc programming book.

at the moment i'm teaching myself Autocad 2008.

same deal goes for the lathe software
for a short while i have the mill or lathe software is $300USD , its the cheapest price out there for decent software . if you look in the forums , the guys are happy with it in comprison to other software that might be bought in the same range
