Hello All, I'm building a stepper driven lift for my workshop router table. While I can control it manually with a few buttons and switches, I'd like to add computer control. What would be a good choice for software? I need manual jog and numeric entry, plus I'd like to use a touch plate (?) to find zero (tip of the bit flush with the table top). Mach 3 and some of the other programs look great, but I'm thinking they're serious overkill. Perhaps some sort of function / motor testing software? Writing my own code or programming my own chips would be way out of my league. Simple is good ![]() Thanks |
