I would like to run Mastercam on a Okuma cnc lathe but i have to convert the mastercam g code to Okuma language. Does anyone know what to use to do this? The lathe is a L-1420 Cadet.

Contact your Mastercam dealer and talk to them about getting a Post Processor for your lathe.
Then all you need do is select the post pro for your machine and hey presto you have a program ready to run on your machine (if the post is any that is!)

The problem that im having isn't the .min file that mastercam posts, its trying to get the posted file to the controler. I need some kind of dos converter.

Have you tried Serial Comms to your machine?
There are lots of different serial comms programs available via the net.
I have been using DNC4U from a person in the UK. Great to use, easy to setup and any problems (which have been very few) have been solved straight away.

also what version of mastercam are you using??
