I seen an Excello 604 CNC mill with Bendix controller up for auction and it's located not too far away. Just wondering if a machine with a Bendix controller is still worthwhile getting and using the way it is or is it a prime candidate for a retrofit? The machine is operational and is suppose to be in very good condition with not alot of time on it. We have been looking into getting a low cost CNC machine at work for short runs and intricate parts that are time consuming to make on a manual mill. We have a manual Excello knee mill and it's a fantastic mill. I prefer using it over our Bridgeport mill so I thought a CNC'd Excello would be ideal. Any thought? Carl |
