I have been to 3 diffrent training classes 9 or 10 days total, 3 with SCM and 1 with CR Onsrud. I only recived one manual.... if you want to call it that. Planit wants you to pay for training at the facility. I have been working with Alpha-Cam 3 and 5 axis router for over 3 years now, full time.

the pdf tutorials on the website are about worthless. The 2d basics are pretty easy to figure out on your own if you have any cad experience but the 3d stuff you'll have to take a class on to really get anywhere unless you have a lot of free time to experiment. I'd start by reading through all the help files built into the program and save up some money for a 3-d class. I've got an intro training class manual for the 2-d basics I could scan if you'd like.

I Read your thread, i was wondering if you could offer me some advise

Im totally new to CNC and Alpha cam, we have Bought a wadkin ux twin head we also have a pc with alphacam standard and alpha edit pre installed, we are having lots of problems trying to get them to talk to each other has anybody got any help for me it has a bosch cc100 control, everytime we try and send the gcode over to it it comes up with an error on the wadkin error 216 incorrect file format

is this anything to do with the post processor as im using the 11100 pre installed on the alphacam software???

Sounds to me like it's the post processor, check with wadkin, they sould have the correct post for you.
