config settings for mach 2

Hi I have bought a proxxon mf 70 cnc from germany. Does anyone have the config settings for mach 2 software for this machine.
Thanks i am stumped trying to set it up can anyone help.

Hi fidia,
hope i can help.
I got a proxxon ( marketed as a jewelmaster) from ebay a while back and have started to get results.
It might not have the same motors as yours ,but i'm sure if you match some of my settings it might get you started.
I used a combination of watching the artcam video tuts, reading and trial and error,which is my usual technique.
It has a Drivemasternc controler also and a fourth axis.
I think the steps per are important and that should be the same for yours.
By the way i'm using mach3.
I'm just a novice ,but ask me any questions and i'll do my best.
By the way if any of you guys see something wrong with how i've set this up please feel free to point it out to me.
I need all the help i can get!!

Thanks for the great help. Geat forum. I am a machinist but have only used machnes that use hurco fanuc and fidia controls but have never had to setup a machine from scratch, great forum. I will no doubt have more questions

hi,

when you have a proxxon mf 70 cnc from germany with a stepperdriver smc800 , then it's not possible to use mach2. Mach2 has a step and dir output.
The smc800 has almost the same , but uses the probe for stepping.
