One of my customers had both their SurfCAM and Esprit software crash last night. They wouldn't post code. Microsoft did an update to hhctrl.ocx last night (04/05/07). I searched Microsoft's support site, and came up with this hotfix. Fixed both of their CAM systems. Goto support.microsoft.com Search for "hhctrl relocated" The title for the fix is: "The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal System DLL Relocation"" The KB # is 935448.
