| Makino shut down Hi I just fired up my 1982 Makino with 6MB control. Axis worked fine and the spindle was happy at the 100 rpm it was already programmed at. I programmed 1000 rpm and the spindle shut down. The Thermal alarm lamp came on and the axis won't move now either unless I push the OT/interlock button but when I do that the contacter freaks out and won't stay closed which leads me to think there might be a short? Any ideas what might have happened?    |
